    Itinerary

     Day 1: Alma to Sainte-Monique (51 km)

For your first day, head towards Sainte-Monique, where you will stay in a charming canadian lodge. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to make a stop at the Odyssée des Bâtisseurs Museum in Alma, then cross the Pointe-Taillon National Park, providing the opportunity to enjoy the sandy shores of Lake Saint-Jean for a pleasant swim.

    Day 2: Sainte-Monique to Dolbeau-Mistassini (50 km)

Head towards Dolbeau-Mistassini! You will have the opportunity to admire numerous blueberry fields, visit the Louis-Hémon Museum, and explore the historic site of the Old Mill if you wish. Once you reach your destination, you will be accommodated in a modern inn. Don't miss the chance to taste the delicious blueberries coated in chocolate, a local tradition, and savor a good regional beer at the Le Coureur des Bois microbrewery.

    Day 3: Dolbeau-Mistassini to Saint-Félicien (55 km)

Pedal towards Saint-Félicien, where the Véloroute des Bleuets will follow along the majestic lake Saint-Jean. You will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien if you wish. Don't miss the local flavors at the Bouchard Artisan Bio artisanal cheese factory and at the La Chouape microbrewery before heading to your lodge.

    Day 4: Saint-Félicien to Desbiens (56 km)

Heading towards Desbiens, explore the various agricultural landscapes, featuring both cereals and small fruits, along with local flavors at Délices du Lac-Saint-Jean in Albanel and the Museum of the old Perron cheese factory in Saint-Prime. Pass by the historic Village of Val-Jalbert in Chambord, where time seems to have frozen in the 1920s. You'll have the option to spend the night there or choose the inn in Desbiens, which is a renovated former monastery.

Day 5: Desbiens to Alma (40 km)

Begin your last day by following the shores of Métabetchouan. The good news is that you will be descending, so take advantage of the gravity-assisted ride to relax and appreciate the landscapes, as well as the weather if it's mild. Make as many stops as necessary to savor the good moments and enjoy the beaches to refresh yourself. Make a tasting stop at the Lac-Saint-Jean microbrewery and at the Médard cheese-bakery in Saint-Gédéon. To complete the tour around the lake, return to your starting point: our agency in Alma.
