Outdoor Ice Museum
Whether on skis, snowshoes or on foot, the 2 km guided tour with interpretation of the Museum leads the visitor to discover, through fifty subjects, surprising facets of ice. A real scientific excursion, the 2-hour adventure on the ice of Lac-St-Jean allows you to enjoy the outdoors, while learning about the formation of flakes, from glaciology to climate change and the arts. and the ice cream parlors.

The night in the Igloft
In winter, the ice allows us to reclaim Lake St-Jean, stretched out in conditions reminiscent of the Arctic Pole. Designed for two people, the interior of these tiny house allows you to observe, in comfort, the northern and polar climate of the lake St-Jean. A dome protects you and let you see the immensity of this icy desert.

The iglofts are set up on the bay in front of the Auberge des Îles. They are at a distance of a few hundred meters from the shore.
We only use the Canadian dollar (CAD). The final cost in your currency will therefore depend on the prevailing rates and the policies of your financial institution.
To make an official reservation, the earlier the better to ensure increased availability. Therefore, you should, at least, book your Igloft 48 hours in advance.
To reach the starting point of the activity, which is located at 250 Rang des Îles in Saint-Gédéon, it takes 2.5 hours from Quebec City and a little over 5 hours from Montreal.
