PART 1 - Turnkey package, igloft and Iloft for summer and winter

1. Booking process


Step 1 - First send us a stay request via our website (electronic form, email, telephone, etc.).
Step 2 - One of our travel consultants will get back to you within 24 business hours with a quote and booking details.
Step 3 - If you do not have any changes to make to the stay, you can confirm your reservation and your availability with one of our advisers who will proceed with the reservation of your accommodation.
The total payment of your package will confirm your reservation. You will automatically receive a confirmation email of your transaction with your itinerary and the accommodations that will be reserved.
Step 4 – Once your accommodation has been reserved, you will receive by email all of your information documents for your stay.

2. Amendment

Fees apply for accommodation changes

2.1 - One week (7 days) and more before the departure of the package: No charge
2.2 - Less than 7 days before departure: $20 fee per change
2.3 - 24 hours or less before departure: Fee of $30 per modification.
2.4 - During the stay: No modification allowed.

3. Cancellation

3.1- One week (7 days) and more before the departure of the package

  • 3 and 4 day package = Fee of $75 per person on your refund *
  • 5 and 6 day package = Fee of $150 per person on your refund*
  • Package of 7 days and more = Fee of $200 per person on your refund*

*Not applicable for groups.

3.2 - Between 7 days and 72 hours before departure: A fee equivalent to 50% of the total amount will be retained
3.3 – Between 72h and 24h before departure: A fee equivalent to 75% of the total amount will be retained
3.4 - Absence at departure (no show): no refund
3.5 -During the stay: in the event of accident, death or other reason deemed justifiable, reimbursement of unused nights of the stay according to the conditions of the accommodation except the first night ($100 per night calculated by package).
3.6 – In the event of cancellation, due to COVID-19 or other specific medical reasons, we will refund your entire package less an administrative fee of $30 provided you present a medical certificate or a positive PCR test result Covid 19 at a health facility.

4. Group travel (8 people and more)

4.1- To confirm the group reservation a deposit is payable by the group leader. This deposit is non-refundable.

Deposit to pay:

Package of 4000 to 5000$ per group = deposit of 1000$

Package of more than $5000 to $6000 per group = deposit of $1200

Package of $6001 and more = $1500

The group leader must inform us of the number and name of the participants as well as all other relevant information (dietary and other)

4.2 - 60 days before departure = 100% of payment must be made by all group members

4.3 - The travel consultant will transmit travel information only to the group leader. The latter will have to communicate them to the participants.

4.4 - Group pricing is applicable from 8 people. The rate could be modified in the case of cancellations in this case if the number of participants is no longer sufficient to reach the group rate.

4.5 - In case of cancellation of a participant, the reservation is transferable to another person who would take the place of a member of your group.

5. Choice of accommodation

5.1 - Équinox Aventure reserves the right, if necessary, to change accommodation (hotels, inns, lodges, chalets, campsites, etc.) with accommodation of the same quality (similar in terms of price). In the event that no similar accommodation is available, Équinox Aventure will suggest to the client higher quality accommodation (at an additional cost), lower quality accommodation (at a discount).
5.2 - Équinox Aventure, for the sake of protecting its expertise, transmits the name and addresses of accommodation once payment has been made.

    6. Carriage of luggage

    Véloroute des bleuets et Horst de Kénogami, with departure from Alma:

    6.1 - No deposit required upon booking.
    6.2 - Full payment on day of departure.
    6.3 - Cancellation before departure: No charge.
    6.4 - Cancellation during stay: Fee of $15 per bag, then refund of the difference.
    6.5 - Possible modifications during the stay, $30 fee per modification

      7. Transport of people

      7.1 - Full payment required upon booking.
      7.2 - Book in advance with one of our advisers during the opening days of the agency.
      7.3 - Cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before departure: We retain fees equivalent to 20% of the total amount.
      7.4 - Cancellation between 48 hours and 24 hours before departure: We retain fees equivalent to 50% of the total amount
      7.5 - Cancellation less than 24 hours before departure: We retain fees equivalent to 90% of the total amount

        8. Equipment Rental

        8.1- Full payment upon reservation.
        8.2 Cancellation more than 72 hours before the rental: 100% of the amount refunded less an administrative fee of $15
        8.3 Cancellation between 24h and 72h before the rental: 100% of the amount refunded less an administrative fee of $30
        8.3 -1.2 Cancellation less than 24 hours before the rental: A fee equivalent to 20% of the total amount will be retained
        8.4 - Possible modification, adjustment of the price accordingly (ex: extension of duration), notify as soon as possible.

          9. Guided snowmobiling 1 day or less

          9.1 - Mandatory deposit of 100% of the total amount of the purchase

          9.2 - A valid credit card number, telephone number and email address must be given directly when booking.

          9.3 - No refund for weather reasons (only Équinox Aventure can cancel the activity due to inclement weather).

          9.4 - In the event of cancellation by Équinox Aventure due to weather conditions, the client will be reimbursed 100% or their activity will be postponed to a later date.

          9.5 - If a customer cancels his reservation 7 days or more before the activity, possibility of a maximum refund of 80%

          9.6 - If a customer cancels his reservation between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity, possibility of a maximum refund of 50%

          9.7 – In case of cancellation within 24 hours, Équinox Aventure keeps 100% of the total amount of the purchase. This amount remains transferable if other possible dates but no guarantee

          Generality

          A. Insurance

          We strongly recommend that participants insure themselves against the risks associated with travel. Customers are responsible for taking out travel insurance. As a result, Équinox Aventure will not be held liable with regard to the elements covered by travel insurance, in particular, medical and hospitalization costs, medical repatriation, loss of luggage, civil liability and trip cancellation, etc.

          B. Prices quoted

          All prices mentioned are in Canadian dollars before the application of taxes (5% GST and 9.975% QST of the displayed price). They do not include the contribution fee of $3.50 per $1000 to the compensation funds for customers of travel agents.

          C. Responsibilities

          C.1 - Équinox Aventure acts as a service operator with regard to the rental of equipment and the transport of people or luggage. With respect to the condition of the bike path, snowmobile and signage on them, the role of Équinox Aventure is limited to planning the route. Regarding the services received in the accommodations during your stay, the role of Equinox Aventure is quite limited. In fact, since we do not own the region's cycling and snowmobile networks or the accommodations, it is impossible to exercise direct control over these organizations. As a result, Équinox Aventure declines all responsibility in the event of non-performance by the service providers of any of the obligations described, with the exception of faults or non-performance resulting directly from the acts or omissions of the immediate employees of Équinox Aventure.
          C.2 - Équinox Aventure will not be liable to the client for any claim, damage and/or expense that may depend on bodily injury, accident, death, damage or loss of personal property, bad weather conditions, strikes or any other unforeseeable cause at time of stay.
          C.3 - The customer who has a complaint must send it by post addressed to Équinox Aventure within fifteen working days of his return from the trip.
          C.4 - Équinox Aventure's liability is strictly limited to the cost of the service or benefit in the event of fault, error or omission on the part of our team to provide a service or benefit described on this website.
          C.5 - Équinox Aventure is not responsible for weather conditions, opening hours of businesses, changes in the schedules of these businesses or any other element over which our team does not have direct control during the stay of the customer.
