Day 1: Saint-Gédéon to Lamarche (75 km)

After mastering your mechanical steed in Saint-Gédéon with the help of your guide, you will begin your journey along the majestic shores of Lac Saint-Jean. You will take the northern trails towards Lac Tchitogama, one of the beautiful junctions of the Péribonka River. From the trails located in the northern part of the region, you will reach accommodation offering a warm and authentic welcome, where a delicious meal awaits you in a friendly atmosphere.

Day 2: Lamarche to Girardville (150 km) or Notre-Dame de Lorette (200 km)

On a route offering diverse panoramas, you will be amazed by the breathtaking views connecting the MRC Lac-Saint-Jean-Est to that of Maria-Chapdelaine. During your journey, you will experience a unique boreal adventure exploring the vastness of pristine and lush landscapes, while discovering the natural wonders of the Passerelles du 49e parallèle trails. Enjoy a hearty meal and end your day in absolute comfort with accommodations offered in the region.

Day 3: Girardville to Saint-Gédéon (140 km) or Notre-Dame de Lorette (160 km)

Several detours allowing you to discover the region will be suggested. You will then return to Saint-Gédéon along the northern shore of Lac Saint-Jean. You will have the opportunity to contemplate numerous interesting views of this immense body of water, surrounded by fertile agricultural lands and vibrant boreal forests. Keep your eyes open!

Possibility to adapt the itinerary in reverse according to demand and experience.

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Complete the acknowledgment and acceptance of risks form.

If you are not driving, Équinox Aventure can arrange transportation for you to your destination from various airports in Quebec as part of this package, for an additional fee.

We also offer the option to add extra nights. Enjoy a peaceful and restful night to start your journey refreshed the next day. (available before and after your stay)

Accommodations for extra nights are located in Alma and Saint-Gédéon.

• You will discover a tourist circuit consisting of 8 footbridges crossing our most beautiful rivers, including the Mistassibi and the Péribonka: The footbridges of the 49th parallel. Project carried out by the Regional Park of the Great Rivers of Lac Saint-Jean.

• You will be accompanied by a certified guide in all-terrain vehicles and trained in first aid in remote areas. They will safely lead you through the many backcountry trails, in compliance with the safety standards of adventure ecotourism (AEQ).

In the event that no similar accommodation is available, Équinox Aventure will suggest to the client an accommodation of higher quality (for an additional fee) or lower quality (for a discount).
