Équinox Aventure, in collaboration with the Center du Sport Lac Saint-Jean, offers the rental of high-performance snowmobiles for winter trails. Before booking, please review the technical details and prerequisites below. We recommend beginners choose a guided tour before renting. This snowmobile rental center is located at Otis Nature in Lamarche Address: 2000 Chem. de la Montagne, Lamarche, QC, Canada

s Rates and rental durations

For 8-hour rentals:

Pick-up is between 8am and 9am.
Return must be by 4pm at the latest.
Including a maximum of 200 kilometers.
Starting rate at $295.

For 24-hour rentals:

Pick-up is between 8am and 9am or at the end of the day between 4pm and 5pm.
Return must be no later than 24 hours after the start of the rental according to the pick-up time.
Including a maximum of 300 kilometers.
Starting rate at $349.

For rentals of more than 24 hours:

Pick-up is between 8am and 9am or at the end of the day between 4pm and 5pm.
Including a maximum of 300 kilometers per day.
Rate for additional days starting from $316.

s Rental Conditions

Reservations are made online and must be done at least 24 hours before the rental.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled rental time.

A valid driver's license is required, minimum age 21.
The rented snowmobile will be filled with gas beforehand.
The customer must return the snowmobile with a full gas tank.
A rental agreement and acceptance of risks must be signed before renting.
$0.75 per additional kilometer (plus taxes).

s Inclusions and exclusions

Including:

Right of access to federated trails
Civil liability insurance of 2 million included in the right of access to the trail.
Quebec Snowmobile Clubs Federation card
Insurance including a $2000 deductible charged to a credit card on the morning of departure. (Any damage below this amount is not covered by the insurance).

This deposit, usually made by an uncharged credit card imprint, is refunded after inspection upon return of the snowmobiles.

Not including:

Snowmobile gear and helmet (rental available)
Gasoline
Breakdown fees ($75/hour)

Procedure for online booking

1 - Select your pick-up and drop-off dates

2 - Then select the pick-up and drop-off times for the equipment

3 - Next, select your equipment to see availability

4 - If necessary, add a complete set of snowmobile clothing (helmet, jacket, trousers, mittens/gloves, boots). The amount shown is per item per day. You can have clothing for two people per snowmobile. Calculate your needs carefully to enter the correct number for the duration of your rental.

5 - Then go to your basket to proceed to payment and enter your personal information to finalise your transaction.

Alternative formula

Are you a group of four or more people who would like to try snowmobiling for the first time? Half-day guided tours are available by reservation. Contact Équinox Aventure at 1-888-668-7381 to check the availability of our guides and get the chance to safely discover the paradise that is northern Lac-Saint-Jean by snowmobile. Full winter clothing is included, as well as helmets and fuel. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and present a valid driving licence. Come experience winter with us!
