This package provides you with the opportunity to explore the 256 kilometers of the Véloroute des Bleuets. By cycling an average of 50 km per day, you will have the opportunity to visit the numerous attractions of the region and discover its beautiful landscapes.

Itinerary 🗺️

Day 1: Alma to Sainte-Monique (55 km)

On your first day, pedal toward Sainte-Monique, where you will spend the night in a charming inn. Along the way, you will have the perfect chance to visit the Odyssée des Bâtisseurs museum in Alma. Afterward, you will cross through Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon, giving you plenty of opportunities to relax on the sandy shores of Lake Saint-Jean and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Day 2: Sainte-Monique to Dolbeau-Mistassini (52 km)

Pedal toward Dolbeau-Mistassini! Along the way, you will have the chance to admire endless blueberry fields, visit the Louis-Hémon Museum, and explore the historic Old Mill site if you wish. Once you reach your destination, you will settle into a comfortable motel for the night. Don't miss out on tasting the delicious chocolate-covered blueberries—a true local tradition—and savoring a great craft beer at the Microbrasserie Le Coureur des Bois.

Day 3: Dolbeau-Mistassini to Saint-Félicien (60 km)

Pedal toward Saint-Félicien, where the Véloroute des Bleuets hugs the shores of the majestic Lake Saint-Jean. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien if you wish. Don't miss out on local flavors with a stop at the Bouchard Artisan Bio cheese factory and the La Chouape microbrewery before heading to your hotel.

Day 4: Saint-Félicien to Chambord (47 km)

Pedal toward Chambord and explore a landscape of rolling farmlands, filled with grain fields and local berry patches. Along the way, treat your tastebuds at Délices du Lac-Saint-Jean in Albanel and stop by the Old Perron Cheese Factory Museum in Saint-Prime. Next, pass through the Historic Village of Val-Jalbert, where time stands still in the 1920s. You will have the option to spend a unique night right in the historic village or stay at a nearby motel.

Day 5: Chambord to Alma (51 km)

Begin your last day by following the scenic shores of Métabetchouan. The good news is that the trail heads downhill from here, so take full advantage of the gravity-assisted ride to relax and take in the beautiful landscapes—and the weather, if it’s mild! Make as many stops as you like to savor the moment and refresh yourself on the local beaches. Be sure to treat yourself to a tasting stop at the Microbrasserie du Lac-Saint-Jean and the Médard cheese-bakery in Saint-Gédéon. To complete your loop around the lake, simply pedal back to your starting point: our agency in Alma.
